The Proper Way To Conduct A Traffic Stop

with one comment

I am quite certain my friend “D.O.T.W.” has already introduced this maneuver to miscreants here in Michigan.

And yes, if it weren’t already obvious, I believe in summary justice.

Two men were driving through Texas when they got pulled over by a
State Trooper.

The cop walked up and tapped on the window with his nightstick. The driver rolled down the window and WHACK the cop smacked him in the head with his nightstick.

“What the hell was that for?” the driver asked.

“You’re in Texas son,” the trooper answered. “When we pull you over in
Texas, you better have your license ready by the time we get to your

“I’m sorry officer,” the driver said, “I’m not from around here.”

The trooper runs a check on the guy’s license – he’s clean– and gives the guy his license back.

The trooper then walks around to the passenger side and taps on the window.  The passenger rolls down the window and WHACK the trooper smacks him on the head with the nightstick.

“What’d you do that for?”  The passenger demanded.

“Just making your wish come true,” replied the trooper.

“Making WHAT wish come true?”  The passenger asked.

“Because I know your type,” the trooper says.   “Two miles down the road you’re gonna turn to your buddy and say, ‘I wish that asshole would’ve tried that shit on me!’”

A Question For Obama

with 6 comments

A while back (March 20th) I ran a clip of the Rev. James David Manning voicing his opposition to Barack Obama ever becoming President of the United States. This post generated a lot of feed back, most of it was anti Rev. Manning.

As a Conservative, I have no vested interest in who the democrats nominate to run against John McCain in November. I think the anti-American sentiment deeply embedded in the DNA of either candidate from the left–and make no mistake Clinton and Obama are BOTH leftists– will be easily exposed.

The question the feedback from this post generated in me was this: Why does Barack Obama spend so much time talking up the African side of his family and so little time on the White side of his family?

The African/Muslim side of his family abandoned him. Twice. His White/Christian grandparents nurtured him, loved him, and supported him. These people, quite frankly, raised him and yet he practically denies their existence.

So for the sake of the curiosity growing like intellectual kudzu in the delta of my fertile mind, will somebody please tell me why he chooses to identify with the part of himself that gave him the least, at the expense of the part that gave him the most?

Kwame’s Clock

with 4 comments

A Detroit man died and went to Heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the pearly gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, “Why are all those clocks there?” St. Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks.  Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock.  Every time you lie, the hands on your clock move.”

“Oh,” replied the man, “very interesting… whose clock is that?” “That’s Mother Teresa’s clock,” answered St. Peter. “The hands have never moved, indicating that she has never told a lie.”

“Incredible!” exclaimed the man. “And whose clock is that one?”St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved only twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.”

“Where’s Kwame Kilpatrick’s clock?” asked the man.

“Kwame’s clock is in Jesus’ office.” St. Peter said. “He’s using it as a ceiling fan.”

Republicans Have A Sense Of Humor

One of the great differences between democrats and Republicans is that we can laugh about our scars.

Hip Hop Indicted

with 5 comments

Pride. Gratitude. Integrity. Doing the right thing. None of these are terms you normally find associated with Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy. Ms. Worthy’s concept of criminal behavior has, to this point, been confined to sensationalizing the actions of white police officers to the point of being able to charge them with criminal conduct.

Today, however, Ms. Worthy showed she has apparently spent the last month and a half becoming acquainted with not only the law, but also with a dictionary.

Kym Worthy handed down a 12 count indictment charging Detroit Mayor Kwame “Hip Hop” Kilpatrick and his former Paramour/Chief of Staff Christine Beatty, with perjury, obstruction of justice, and willful misconduct. Worthy further showed that she actually “gets” this case. She made it clear that it is not about sex, but about lying under oath. Not about sex, but about destroying the reputations of police officers who were only doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. Not about sex, but about wasting taxpayer dollars to defend a lie. Not about sex, but about public corruption.

If convicted on all counts, Hip Hop could face nearly eighty years in jail. Sadly, in Michigan the sentences would have to run concurrently meaning the worst that could happen is Hip Hop spends a few years playing right field on the prison softball team.

Ms. Worthy’s actions today went a long way in changing my opinion of her. She seems to have had an attack of conscience and realized that a crime is a crime regardless of the color of the criminal.

You can watch Ms. Worthy’s press conference here:

The only hurdle standing in the way of Ms. Worthy’s successful prosecution of Hip Hop and Beatty will be seating a coherent jury from the waterheaded, crack addicted populace of the City of Detroit. For Hip Hop to be tried by a jury of his peers, Jackson Prison would have to give furloughs to it’s resident population of Crips, Bloods, Chambers Brothers, and Black Mafia Family members.

So, thank you Kym Worthy, for having the integrity to do the right thing and best of luck to you when it comes to prosecuting Detroit’s Hip Hop Mayor.

He Is Risen

with one comment

“He is not here: for he is risen… And Jesus spake unto them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Amen.

Matthew 6, 18-19

Have a blessed Easter,
