“Just a Good Guy…With a Few Bad Habits”

Jane Fonda–Still A Class Act

Was she talking about her part in the play? Or just floating the working title of her Autobiography?

You Decide.

  2. Suddenly the tables turn and everyone takes such offensive to a harmless, meaningless comment. To begin, who was home watching the noon broadcast of Jane Fonda’s “Vagina Monologues” critique? We are more or less entertaining the women’s legacy by giving her an occasional seven minute spot on nbc. I watch this and say “Aww … look at her. Its almost like she thinks we still care what she has to say.” Well, unfortunately, we dont. She should be able to say whatever she wants … anything that will make her feel that she has fulfilled her obligations and rush her off stage asap. Aside from the necessary attacks at her … I find id less than inspiring that we, as a people, continue to take such comments in a bitter, condemning light. Vulgarities exist, and people use them. They’re just words used to express ourselves when others fall short. Why must such a hooblah be made everytime someone curses on tv, radio, and the like. If i was a seventy old woman and caught heat due to my use of vulgarity, id tell everyone to go fuck themselves. The “shun everything into a dark corner and act like it doesnt exist” approach solves few problems … unless youre dick cheney and have recently fired a large gauge shotgun round into a man’s face and chest. Can we all grow up and stop whining about everything that doesnt matter?

    does it matter?

  3. I dont think it was the comment but we all just love to see “Hanoi Jane” make an ass of herself.

The vulgarity she gave birth to on national television pales in comparison to the vulgarity she commited against the troops of this nation durning the Viet Nam war.

  5. Does it matter probably doesn’t know about “Hanoi Jane”. Too young Im guessing.
Jane Fonda durring the Vietnam war was a very loud protester of the war. Which I have no problem with people being against war, but you do have to support the troops, past, present, and future, for they are the ones that fight and die to give you the right to say pretty much what you want.
She took it as far as going to visit the POW camp known as the “Hanoi Hillton”, she was passed a note by one of the American prisoners who was asking for help. She promptly gave that note to one of the guards, that POW was more than likely beat half to death, if not killed.
She will never live that down, and has never said she was sorry for doing that.
I dont blame you for not knowing that, because they dont teach you about the treason she commited. Yes I believe it was treason and she should have been jailed if not shot.
And before anyone gets mad at me for saying she should have been shot. Go to your local VFW, or American Legion, and ask a Nam vet. If you are lucky enough to find an ex POW, I m sure they will agree.
Does it matter, any anger that came through was not directed at you, but just my hatered for Ms. Fonda bleeding thru.
