“Just a Good Guy…With a Few Bad Habits”

Meat Loaf

No, not a new recipe from the “Scolai Institute for Culinary Arts.”

Meat Loaf the artist. Meat Loaf, who will probably go down in history as the artist most screwed over by greedy music industry execs.

Meat and Jim Steinman have yet to see dollar one from “Bat Out of Hell,” an album that has sold more than 37 million copies. What a pain in the ass it must be to have to pay the people that actually create the product.

Anyway, here are two of my favorite Meat Loaf tunes. Whether I was trying to get over a break-up, or just trying to get some, these songs bring back great memories.

  1. Meatloaf…..all of the tempo changes, key changes, off beats, fills……underappreciated musical mad genius.

Plus one of the only performers I will break my strick rule for. The one that says I will not listen to anyone that had “hit” before I hit puberity.
