“Just a Good Guy…With a Few Bad Habits”

PINK

with 3 comments

Okay, I am admittedly behind the curve on this one and Hooligan may muay thai kick me into oblivion for saying so, but I love the latest Pink CD.

Here’s a girl who scratched and fought her way to the top and did it without selling out or losing her attitude, which I see as her greatest asset (physical assets aside!). Even though she broke at the same time as the “Slutsketeers” (Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton), and has a voice all three can only envy, you won’t find her being chased by paparazzi, or pantyless in the pages of The Enquirer.

It’s another case of me loving an artist for their music, but being in complete disagreement with their politics. I could write an in depth post debunking her sentiments as stated in the song “Dear Mr. President”, but I still like the in your face vibe of the CD as a whole.

Here’s the video for “U and Ur Hand.”

  1. Call me old fashion, but what ever happened to the chicks wearing the studded thong over the leather pants, like the girls from Vixen and Lita Ford.
Just wanted to throw that out there

  2. Actually there will be no Muay Thai kicking. Since Pink is like the Anti-Britney-Simpson-Lohan-Hilton I have no choice but to fully embrace her. As an added bonus she is married to ultra rad dude and tattoo shop owner Mr. Hart.
