Bush Veto’s Democrat Surrender Plan

“Moral courage is the most valuable and usually the most absent characteristic in men.”  General George S. Patton Jr.

“It’s definitely absent in these two surrender monkeys” Scolai

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi continually portray their views as representing the will of the American people. Out of curiosity as to just how many American’s they actually represent, I looked up their 2004 vote totals (the last year in which they campaigned at the same time):

Harry Reid 2004 Vote Total = 490,232

Nancy Pelosi 2004 Vote Total = 224,017

Less than half a million people elected the frustrated, cowardly, traitorous Senator from Nevada.

Less than a quarter million people elected the frustrated, bitter, traitorous Congress woman from California’s 8th District.

Combined, they total less than three quarters of a million votes, out of roughly 122,000,000 cast in 2004.

Will someone please explain to me where these two get the balls to believe that they were empowered to prosecute the war on terror? I’m quite certain that Pelosi’s testicles dwarf Reid’s, but I seriously doubt they are large enough to set
U.S. foreign policy, especially in time of war. If they truly believe all is lost in Iraq, and that they, not the Commander-in-Chief, have the support of the American people, then by all means let them show the courage of their polls (legislators on that side of the aisle seem to live and die by “polls.” I doubt they would know a “conviction” if it jumped up and bit them on their pimpled posteriors); let them defund the war now, and immediately bring all U.S. forces home. If they had the support they think they do, the President’s veto of their latest lunatic proposal to undermine American security would have been overridden.

Just for laughs, how many votes did President Bush receive in 2004?

I’d say that makes him just a little more representative of the wishes of the American people, than Reid and Pelosi.

Let me leave Harry and Nancy with a few more words from the immortal General Patton. As a former soldier, I would bet my left nut (which, by itself, Pelosi and Reid couldn’t carry with a skid loader and a dump truck) that the troops now in Iraq and Afghanistan would agree with every word:

“Sure, we want to go home. We want this war over with. The quickest way to get it over with is to go get the bastards who started it. The quicker they are whipped, the quicker we can go home”
