“Just a Good Guy…With a Few Bad Habits”

A Mother’s Question

This was forwarded to me this morning. Its Author is unknown to me. Its power cannot be denied.

Scolai

A mother asked President Bush,

“Why did my son have to die in Iraq ?”

Another mother asked President Kennedy,

“Why did my son have to die in Viet Nam?”

Another mother asked President Truman,

“Why did my son have to die in Korea ?

Another mother asked President F.D . Roosevelt,

“Why did my son have to die at Iwo Jima?”

Another mother asked President W. Wilson,

“Why did my son have to die on the battlefield of France?”

Yet another mother asked President Lincoln,

“Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg?”

And yet another mother asked President G. Washington,

“Why did my son have to die near Valley Forge?”

Then long, long ago, a mother asked…

“Heavenly Father, why did my Son have to die

on a cross outside of Jerusalem?”

The answers to all these are similar —

“So that others may have life and dwell in peace,

happiness and freedom.”

IF YOU DON’T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS,
PLEASE, FEEL FREE…

TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM !

  1. I understand. But the truth is. People are willing servants to our governments and our governments love war. war is a money making machine and the best form of population control. even though some of us can see through the government machine that causes and promotes war. a good majority of people specialy americans fail to see the big picture. to government we are nothing but slaves programmed from birth to be a certain way. to think how we at tought to think. think back in history. every war that has happend recently that ahs involved the unites states has been a war launched under fauls pretext. its all about fear and control. people naturaly gravitate twords peace but twhen your government wants to go to war they set up an attack and blame it on the so called emeny.. do some reseearch..so you dont think im talking out of my &%$^$ http://www.fadi420.wordpress.com

  2. Support our troops by not exchanging their youth, dreams or at most their lives for resources taken illegally by force. Where are the sons and daughters of the George Bushes’ or Hillary Clintons or Cheneys or the sons and daughters of all the governors, senators crying for war or the children of the profiteers- shareholders in Halliburton? Confusing patriotism with naked, illegal imperial conquest at the cost of more than 30,000 American youth dead plus the 30,000 wounded plus the 10 of thousands physcologically damaged let alone the more than one-million Iraqi innocent civilians amounts to criminal ignorance.
